The investor needed a clear, evidence-based view of the target’s technical platform, organisational maturity, and capacity to scale alongside an understanding of cybersecurity posture and competitive differentiation. Technical Due Diligence required validating the uniqueness and replicability of the platform, identifying risks and opportunities, and outlining a path for systematic growth and innovation.
Netlight partnered closely with the target's leadership to evaluate the technical platform, organisational setup, and innovation processes. This involved assessing infrastructure scalability to ensure support for future growth and new product development, conducting expert interviews with internal users and competitors’ customers to gather objective insights, and performing hands-on experiments with the target’s product and competing offerings to benchmark capabilities.
Additionally, Netlight analysed product strengths, identified gaps, and examined the competitive landscape, delivering recommendations for product evolution. A comprehensive cybersecurity review was executed at both organisational and technological levels, and the platform's uniqueness, difficulty of replication, and the organisation's readiness for systematic growth and innovation have been evaluated.
