I have mainly worked in strategy and change projects, but currently I am working as a project manager for a game development project. At the beginning of a project, it is important for me to create an understanding of the customer and their specific situation to be able to tailor my role and delivery as needed. In this work, I often have contact with my colleagues at Netlight where I use our gathered competence to create an optimal solution for the customer.
What is competence?
Competence includes a person’s skills and abilities to perform tasks. As a leader it is important to be aware of your own skills, your strengths and weaknesses and then build the right team around you. One person cannot do or be best at everything, but by establishing a diversified group around yourself, delegate and be prestigeless you create a wider range of competence.
