Automated ESG reporting for a global commerce corporation
- ESG-Reporting
- ESG-Automation
After completing their materiality assessment, our client - a large holding company – faced a complex challenge: collecting, cleaning, standardising, and automating ESG data across all subsidiaries to create a compliant, unified report. The lack of a standard data-sharing process and the use of varied technological platforms, including different cloud services, made the task even more difficult. To overcome these hurdles, Netlight teamed up with the Group's Tech Strategy department. Together, we created a clear strategy to gather, analyse, and process subsidiary data into comprehensive reports. This involved reviewing processes, workflows, and team structures to align with the expectations of auditors. Additionally, we introduced innovative automation solutions and better data collection methods, ensuring the entire process is smoother and more effective. The result? A streamlined path to ESG compliance and reporting, customised to the client's unique needs.
